is a co-creative group of visionary musicians, multimedia artists and writers whose collective mission is to support a higher level of balance, well-being and transformation for humanity. They have been working in the field of Sound Healing for several decades. After 10 years in private practice and profound exploration in a unique sound & light healing environment called The Odyssey, they began releasing the musical landscapes of these cybershamanic sonic adventures to the pubic in 2000. They have sold thousands of CDs all across the planet, many to those in the healing arts or those involved in seeking higher levels of integration in their lives. They are now offering a special and unique series of musical soundscapes created for the Sanctuary of Sounds project. This music provides an excellent bridge of multidimensional musical information for those who are seeking more expanded options to add to their health care programs.
The core members of this eclectic group took the name, Shapeshifter, in 1990 after a life-changing adventure in the Amazon rainforest. They chose the name to reflect a synthesis of ancient knowledge and conscious awareness with the evolving possibilities of modern technology. Their soundscapes reflect the essence of this name, manifest in an infinite spectrum of emotion, nuance and meaning that continually shifts-shape throughout the organic flow of each composition.
The music is composed intuitively during states of deep meditation and communion with the lifeforce and higher intelligence of Gaia - setting the intent, and holding the space, to bring forth musical soundscapes in alignment with the vision of assisting the human bio-energetic field in obtaining the highest states of well-being possible. Their evocative, soundscapes are composed of all original sounds and modulations utilizing the computer and synthesizer technology available to them.
